wow!! where has the time gone?!?! we've been pretty busy but i think things are going to slow down a big!
fun books!! C is for Christmas i LOVED, it has beautiful pictures, and using the alphabet explaining christmas.
(missing 2 books that were grandma's so she took them back)
we had a busy weekend and yaaa that jaylene and ryder were here to participate!!
friday was raymond's old fashioned christmas and it was a lot warmer this year so that was good! the 1st thing we did was go get doughnuts and hot chocolate (last year we missed out)
then we waited for the hay ride. i needed to stay with the stroller but jaylene took good care of her siblings. pyper was in pure heaven. she just jibbered and pointed at the mules. it was cute!
after that the big kids went and got balloons and the little girls and i went and got face "painted".. skylee wasn't feeling that good :(
we then had "fast track" tickets to see santa so we walked quickly to the high school and got in line. i'm not sure if it was any faster but oh well lol. pyper still was afraid but skylee just ran to him and hugged him. then i took the kids back to the car and headed home. the kids got SPOILED with santa's gift bags!
we put the little girls to bed then tidied up the house and went and rented a christmas movie. ryder was lucky enough to run to the fish pond before they closed. his gift was like MADE for him, it could not have been anymore PERFECT!
it was a good night! (little stressful by myself, but good haha)
saturday we woke up and did our usual chores then headed into lethbridge. we went straight to the mall to see santa and get a picture of all kids. pyper still wanted nothing to do with him but she was fine with jaylene holding her.
after we headed to "rise of the guardians" and it was so cute! pyper was not as interested in it as the halloween show we went to and i think it was because there was no music. but she did fine!
(ryder wanted to sit in the front row haha)
sunday after church we were lucky enough to have grandma and grandpa come and join us. they ave been gone for 2 weeks visiting my brothers.
we had grandma read our book that day (good thing cause it was a long one haha)
while we were waiting for supper to cook we made some christmas trees out of waffle cones. don't know if we'll do gingerbread houses again!! it was pretty fun and easy
after a yummy yummy dinner we played some christmas BINGO!! grandpa thought he needed a treat every square haha silly man!

monday was a low key day. the little girls and i made apple jacks cade cane ornaments (they lasted about an hour on the tree haha)
(yes, skylee wears a tutu every day)
i spent the rest of the day baking.... and these cute girls helped.... with eating them haha
tuesday was a ME day! it was my crop day, where 6 of us get together and scrapbook/quilt/make cards/craft/anything, all day. it was at my house this month so all that got done was reading the book.
wednesday, we had to deliver cookie dough to cardston and it was my parents ward christmas party so the kids all went with my parents and i did some shopping with this cute face. she found this bear in the christmas aisle and after she was done hugging and kissing him she carried him through the whole store with her. UGH isn't she adorable!? i can't get enough of that face (even though she really is a monster)
