i really do want to blog… (have i mentioned that?) so i'm going to start with whats been going on this summer so far.
last day of school. seriously, i felt like this year flew by! with being pregnant sick at the beginning of the year, then having a preemie in the hospital. that alone is the 1st half of the school year. then pypers birthday, ryders birthday, ryders baptism, presleys baby blessing, me in the hospital… time flew.
all 3 of these kids grew so much this year, in every way! i'm so so proud of the awesome young people they are becoming.
this is a fun thing i saw on pinterest. buckets full of fun summer things waiting for them.
lots and lots of henderson park days
canada day! one of my favourite days!!!!
sunday- before canada day… our ward at least doubled in size haha
monday- the town had a fun little family dance. the mosquitoes were AWFUL! but we made do
(i'm pretty sure my girls had 5 pieces of cake lol... and jaylene was off with friends, she's to cool for us)
tuesday- ready for the parade
(presley was so tired! she usually sleeps all morning. half way through the parade i look over and she's falling asleep on my mom haha)
after the parade we had our annual family/friends BBQ. it was such a fun time. the adults chatted, the kids played… perfect!
the kids went swimming and we cleaned up and a few friends stayed and chatted, we then headed to the street fair
(jaylene again disappeared with her friends)
we ended the perfect day with a wiener roast at a friends house and watched the fireworks because they are right across the street.
the next weekend we went to the coaldale candy parade. it was fun, but not as good as raymond
they had a fun little kids thing after the parade… face painting, reptiles, building bird nests, balloons ect
it was soooo hot out. we headed to the spray park for the rest of the afternoon to cool off
on sunday karim and i headed to the stampede with friends. i know that it wasn't the greatest day to go but that's the only day that worked. so we went
this week we started swimming lessons, it's a great jump start to my lazy summer mornings. then just some water fun!
and then i will end this post with this cute growing baby!! she seriously completes me and is so so so happy! she sleeps through the night, wakes up to eat and get a bottle then goes back to bed till lunch, wakes up to eat, goes back to bed till around 3 then stays awake till bedtime. she started crawling 2 weeks ago and does not stop. AND she's pulling herself up on stuff!! WHAT?!? :( i think she's right on track for babies. being a preemie hasn't held her back :) she's 15 pounds of perfect!
