so for jaylene's party we decided that we were going to go to calaway amusement park in calgary (just karim, jaylene, ryder & i) our kids have never been and i know they will have a blast.
BUT
jaylene wanted to have friends over for a "little" celebration for cake and playing and then swimming (which didn't happen cuz our weather stunk) so today on her actual b-day we had some friends (which all turned out to be her cousins lol) over to celebrate. so becuz the weather stunk and they couldn't go swimming i had no idea what to do cuz i had nothing organized or planned....so when all else fails, give girls some make-up and hair things haha. i think jaylene was a little sad that there was no pinata and that kind of stuff, but i know once she gets to calaway she's gonna think were the best parents ever lol.

yup i gave in a got her a DS...she's been asking for one since she was 5...really what 5 year old needs a DS! anyways she definatly has limitations, i can't stand a kid that is so into that stuff that they can't even play outside....anyways there are lot's of educational stuff and thats what we plan on doing with it....but she was VERY happy :)
