back 2 school

i fee like i just did this post.... oh wait i did! wow, i really slacked off. i'm sorry :)

i was sooooo ready for school to start. more so, because our lives go back to normal. with kids that have a different family, summer is always difficult, especially with trying to please everyone! jaylene 7 ryder were gone the whole month of august....i wan't a big fan.... and i don't think it will happen again. we still did lot's of fun things with the little girls, but it was weird!! and the little girls were so bored lol. i rarely made supper, it was just weird.  

any-who to say we were excited was as understatement lol. 

jaylene is now in grade 4! (say what?) and she has mrs beazer. we've heard mixed things about her but as of right now jaylene is loving school and has quite a few little friends in her class. 

-her favorite things are math, gym, lunch and recess haha. 

-she still struggles waking up (just like her mama) 

-she loves reading

-she's in size 12 clothes

-size 3-4 shoes

and my ryder is FINALLY in 1st grade! he has waited soo long! he was ready when he went to pre-school! he is just so excited to go full time like jaylene, to get juice boxes in his lunch like jaylene, to get pizza day like jaylene, & to be with his friends all day. he has miss jensen and we couldn't be more thrilled! she is just so fantastic and everybody that has had her LOVES her. he also has a couple little friends in his class again, so that's fun for him too.

-he doesn't have a favorite subject yet

-he jumps right up awake when we wake him up.

-he's in size 6 clothes but they still kind of drown him

-size 13 shoes

 (can hardly stand his excitement)                                

THEN another huge change that happened in our life was karim FINALLY started university. it's been a long time coming and we kind of did everything backwards, but our life happened backwards and everything has ben such a long process BUT we are here and we are ready! he's taking dentistry and is in school as of right now mon,wed,fri but i'm thinking that will change. and then he is still working at moxies monday-saturday but that will change as his school schedule changes. so i'm a single mom again, and we're going to be poor! yaaa me! (not) haha

(he was a little bit sad that i didn't have a sign for him hahahahaah)

since the 1st day is only half a day we usually have our back 2 school party right after. i had yummy chicken enchilada puffs, fresh fruit and banana chic ch muffins waiting. then we sit and talk about everything that happened. it was pretty fun.

here's for another great school year and hopefully back on track with blogging. :)
