this past week jaylene performed in school choir and then in jr choir (2 different days) at a festival! they would sing a couple songs and then a music director lady would get up and critique them (she was pretty funny to watch). it was so fun watching jaylene, she's growing up fast and i know she is cuz i live with her, but watching her up there singing with the same teachers that i sang with- really hit me how fast she's grown up :( she is such a big helper to me and she has the sweetest spirit!! i'm lucky to be her mom. we didnt get any good pics because there was so many parents trying and not a lot of time but heres what we got.

and these ones are from jr choir. you have to be invited into jr coir so when jaylene came home from school with "the note" she was soooooo excited!!
she's coming out of her shell more and more (she is very shy)
p.s. check out her new perm, it almost makes me tear up cuz when she was younger she had the most beautiful natural curls just like these, but when she was 4 she chopped her hair off and it never grew back curly :'(
the 1st couple of days i just had flash backs to this little curly head toddler running around!
She looks adorable! I can't believe how fast she is growing up either!
