skylee and her "people"

on friday the 20th, skylee had her 1 year appointment in calgary with her "people" since last summer when she came home i've been back 4 times and everytime they tell me the same thing....she's perfect. she has a little hernia in her belly button but nothing they are concerned about. she has been their star baby! when i think and hear about all the struggles and hard times that she could have gone through, i am just so thankful for the preisthood because i truly believe that the blessing her daddy gave her the night she was born has guided her to being the perfect healthy baby she is. i can't say it enough she is just the best baby....we drove to calgary and she didn't make a peep besides "singing" and talking to us...no whinning or crying. then after her appointment we did some serious shopping and we never heard a peep out of her. she's perfect!
her "people" told us that we can treat her like any other toddler (we have been anyway) but before we had to watch what she eats and have special formula....well now she can switch to homo.
we only have to come back once a year for a checkup...and i'm not sure for how many years...hmm.

after we were done at the children's hospital we headed over to the ronald mcdonald house to say hi and get some pictures....i really love that place and still to this day i miss it. it's a great organization!!

our perfect baby all dressed (in her new clothes) and ready to go shopping in lethbridge with her daddy while mommy went to a scrapbooking workshop!
She is perfect what a blessing after all you went through eh! She is so dang cute! We are so blessed to have the priesthood I truely believe there is nothing stronger on earth!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso I have the same carseat but I hate it because everytime Karsen falls asleep his head flops all around like there is no support did you do something different with your carseat or does she just sleep better than karsen ha ha!!?? Well what great news eh!!

ReplyDeleteit's pretty reclined, it's not sitting straight up..it's kind of a weird one, i don't get it lol, i might try and sell it and get a different one.
Of course she is perfect!
