ok, i saw my doctor on friday. she checked me and i was over 2 cm (so thats a step) and then really stripped my membranes (i thought she did that at the last appt but no she didn't) and after she did that there was a little bit of "show" so she said that was a good sign. she told me that she didn't think i would make it the week but if i did then i get induced on Sunday Jan 30....so THAT my friends is a very happy thing!!! the end is near and i have a date haha. i no longer have to be REALLY grumpy playing the waiting game. i'm supposed to show up at 6:30am in the emerg (cuz it's the weekend) ask for labour and delivery and she will meet me there. that's pretty early and i will probably get no sleep the night before but thats ok haha.
so now that i really only have a week left (karim thinks i'm having this baby sooner...i don't) i have alot to do. it makes my whole soul happy knowing the date...i tell ya it makes EVERYHING better haha. so i'm hoping this week will fly by cuz of everything i need to get done.
**** on another note of happy news....we didn't get his actual papers but we DID get his open work permit where karim can work WHERE-EVER he wants.....so after this baby is born, we can finally decide what to do with our lives until we can get into school. it's very exciting!!! so we have some big, life decisions to make so stay tuned...****
