ok, so before i can update on the "latest" doctors appt i have to do the waterslide post that i forgot about.
every year, after christmas, the bevans family goes to the Medicine Hat Lodge to the waterslides. we usually just send jaylene and ryder but this year somebody cancelled and they had an extra room so we decided that it would be fun to take skylee and be with the kids too. so we did. (they offered us the room) they go for 3 days and 2 nights....we came on the 2nd day and just stayed 1 night. we woke up early and got the the Lodge by 11:00 so we were there all day and night and most of the whole next day, so it was a great trip. the kids loved that we were there with them also. usually when we send the kids to a bevans family function jaylene will often ask "well can't you guys just come with us too?" so i'm glad that we went.
skylee of course was in heaven...she couldn't get enough of the water. she wanted to be in the whole time that she was awake which was challenging. we all had pool side rooms so we all just sat outside our rooms and talked and hung out, so skylee thought that she could just jump in whenever she wanted lol. karim did really good at taking her with him alot.
we hung out, played games, chatted, ate, and swam. it was a great little holiday!!
with your room, you get a free breakfast coupon for everybody (which was awesome) it's in the hotel, and is a huge buffet that has EVERYTHING...it was fabulous!! after we headed back to get into swim suits, skylee puked everywhere, so karim being the good guy he was, kicked me out lol and cleaned it up and bathed skylee, and put her back to bed. (we had a rough night, and nobody got any good sleep) so after she went to bed we went and sat with everybody else and the kids started swimming again.
about and hour and a half later i went and checked on skylee. she was awake and acted perfectly happy, so i grabbed her swim suit and took her out where everybody else was to get her changed.....and just as i took her shirt off she puked again...all over me....and the floor. karim was in the pool right beside us and looked up just to see it happen. he took 1 look at my face and jumped out and grabbed some towls and started to clean it off of me....you see i don't do well with throw up.....i can manage it usually but when i'm pregnant, it's worse! he kept telling me look away cuz he didn't want to clean up skylees AND mine hahaha. so i went and jumped in the shower and he bathed skylee after i was done....so skylee and i just hung out and took it easy. we don't really know what happened...if she just ate something that didn't settle well or what, cuz she didn't have a fever or act sick at all. but other than that everything went fine and we all had alot of fun.
on the last day, after check out, they all go to this place to eat and it's a big buffet...kinda like chuck-a-rama (but not as good lol i LOVE chuck-a-rama) and after that we drove home.
