the night before fathers day i was up until 1am getting everything ready to make karim's day special. all you bloggers out there will recognize the fathers day accessories (i don't know how to link)
my friend helped me make the apron (i don't have a printer or sewing machine) we live a block away from each other and it was taking longer than i thought and i was starting to panic cuz it was like 7pm and my kids still hadn't had supper or showered and my house was a disaster so i sent them home to heat some pizza that was in the fridge and tidy up what they could.....then told jaylene to shower.
when i walked in at 8:15 i found ryder sweeping my kitchen, already showered (jaylene washed his hair lol) i found every room tidied (to thier level) my own bed made (yup i don't make my bed everyday) my pajamas layed out for me, and jaylene in the shower. i was SOOO proud. and they LOVED how proud and happy i was.
i got the little girlies bathed and everybody into bed. i started the cupcakes, and while they were baking i started cutting out all the ties. cupcakes done, frosted, tie pins in, and house decorated. i finished cleaning the house and got all the church clothes ready for church.
morning of
i woke the kids up at 6:30 to help me make pancakes with whip cream, strawberries and chocolate shavings. we then took him breakfast in bed (he was already awake and showered working on his lesson)
he then followed the kids out to see the table full of his stuff. he LOVED it, and the kids LOVED how excited he was.
i woke skylee up and got everybodies breakfast on the table then jumped in the shower.
after church i had a sunday dinner ready to come out of the oven. we sat down and had a nice dinner together (doesn't happen very often here with karim working nights)
the kids then left with thier daddy jason and daddy karim again had to head to work...can't get father's day off either lol.
happy daddie's day to the best daddy my kids could ask for.
and happy father's day to my dad who is the best dad/grandpa ever!!! he is my kids best friend and a GREAT rook partner :)
